Mission and Aims

WHA's mission is to work with partners so that the genuine needs of people affected by headache disorders are recognized and relieved everywhere in the world.

WHA's role within the partnership is to advocate for people affected by headache disorders everywhere.

WHA's partners in its mission include the World Health Organization, the International Headache Society, those who work for or represent people with headache anywhere in the world and supporters from industry and elsewhere.

WHA measures its achievements in terms of reduced worldwide burden of headache.

Aims

WHA has three key strategic objectives, upon which its activities are founded.

1. To form Networks of Knowledge of genuine needs of people affected by headache disorders worldwide;
2. To convert its knowledge of needs to Advocacy of Awareness; and
   
3. To forge alliances with Partners for Progress.
