International – International Headache Society

41 Welbeck Street, London, W1G 8EA

The International Headache Society (IHS) was founded in 1981 and incorporated as a charity in the United Kingdom in 1995. We have over 1,000 members and membership is open to anyone whose professional commitment, whatever their discipline, is to helping people whose lives are affected by headache disorders.

IHS aims to relieve sickness and protect and preserve health worldwide by promoting research into the causes, mechanisms, diagnosis, treatment and other aspects of headache and by disseminating the useful results of such research, and by advancing the education and raising the awareness of the public of the subjects of headache, its science and management.
