The 13th Congress of the International Headache Society ran from 28 June-1 July 2007 in Stockholm, Sweden. Held jointly by the International Headache Society and the Swedish Migraine Society, the Congress focused on seven scientific areas:

• pain and inflammatory mechanisms,
• genetics and co-morbidity,
• neurobiology,
• paediatrics,
• chronification,
• new insights into sinister secondary headaches and developments and the future of treatments.
